Business Overview

Created by Amy Serpe, who has been legally blind since birth, Serpe Solutions, Inc. provides education and training through a variety of online group workshops, printed materials and one-to-one coaching sessions for: individuals, families, teachers and businesses.

 

Serpe Solutions, Inc.:

• Helps individuals in dealing with the emotional and environmental obstacles created by low vision or vision loss, as they learn adaptive skills and techniques to maximize their remaining eyesight and maintain independence.
   

• Works with families, teachers and others enabling them to best support individuals with visual limitations or other types of disabilities.
   

• Provides businesses and community organizations with trainings to:

  • Encourage the hiring or retention of employees with visual or other disabilities.
     

  • Educate companies regarding disability-related laws, such as the ADA – Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, and other regulations and topics including appropriate language, disability etiquette and how to reasonably accommodate employees with visual or other types of disabilities.
